Long time coming

I've been meaning to update for quite awhile and I'm finally able to do it. Somehow this semester has been one of the busiest times in my life. I have lots of new favorite songs per Alex and her lovely playlist and lipsynching time.

On one hand I've been really stressed in the last month or so. Moving into a house is extremely stressful and doing it when you're taking 12 credits and working 30 hours a week is bleh. On the other hand, John and I have been painting the house and buying towels and such which is so much fun! I love the fact that this house is mine and I can do whatever I want to it. I'm really looking forward to thanksgiving (I'm making my first turkey meal!), followed by a house party for the family and then Christmas! My own tree, my own decorations and lots of fun! I love christmas! Today I went to Target for the sole purpose of walking around all of the decorations...haha.

Today was the year anniversary to Linda (John's mom) dying. I haven't been overwhelmed with sadness. It's kind of just been there in my mind to think about all day if that makes any sense. John has to work all day and I have no idea what things will be like when he gets home. The TV shows that we love are on tonight so there will be some distractions there.

I am so HAPPY that Obama won the presidency. And I'm sick and tired of people saying that he's the anti-christ and that we should pray for him blah blah blah. I wouldn't be saying that if McCain had won. I'd be disappointed but not in your face about it. It's annoying.

That's all I have for now. I'll try to be better in the future :). I'm excited for Alex and Ruth to be home so we can have another get together!
